You have the right to permanently delete your Ascend account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains exactly what gets removed, how long it takes, and gives you two ways to submit a deletion request — in-app for active users, and by email for users who can no longer access their account.

What gets permanently deleted
Account profileYour name, email, authentication credentials, and Clerk user record.
Face photosAll photos uploaded for any scan — front, side, and angled — from Supabase storage.
Scan resultsEvery scan you've ever taken: overall score, category scores, AI tips, celebrity match data.
75-Day protocolYour personalized 75-Day Transformation Guide data and daily progress.
GamificationXP, achievements, level progress, and streak history.
AI Coach historyAll AI Coach conversation threads and message history.
Note: Payment and subscription records are retained for 7 years to comply with financial and tax regulations. They are stored without any personally identifiable information after account deletion.

Option A — Delete from inside the app
Recommended if you can still sign in. This is the fastest path — deletion is immediate.
1Open the Ascend app and sign in to your account.
2Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
3Scroll to Settings → Delete account.
4Confirm the deletion. Your data is removed instantly.

Option B — Request deletion by email
Use this if you have lost access to your account, deleted the app, or prefer not to sign in again. We respond to all requests within 30 days, and most are processed within 72 hours.
